Beached Longboat

In doing some research on 28mm Longboats I came across this model by Justin Taylor of Veni Vidi Vici.
He says 'I used a Gripping Beast longboat cut in half to create two beached long boat 'ends' that I use in my games'.  Expensive materials - awesome effect!

  1. That's quite good, I like it as it gives you an objective aswell.

  3. That does look good. It wouldn't take up much space on the table or shelf but would add a lot to the game.

You have me thinking of Vikings now.

Is it just me or do those sheep look scared :)

  4. An expensive, but not outrageous component for modeling, and you can't argue with the results.

  5. It is indeed effective, and as an objective doesnt take up too much table space. I think he has done a great job with it.

My GB Longship will be a bit more seaworthy, however, for some battles afloat!
